restless...
yesterday after a eh day at work headed home with the intent of staying in (originally planned to have din din with apogeeperigee but she had to cancel.. *sniff sniff*) but around 10pmish i got restless... so i hopped in the car and headed over to Manway for some dancing. the crowd was sparse and some of the music was good.. but the restlessness didnt go away... so left around 12:30 and headed home... spent the a couple hours doing sword form for a bit... still restless... so i ended up reading... woke this morning with the book on my head..:>

im still restless....

I think you should do a roadtrip, but without a destination. Just go. OR take a jaunt to the yonder south to see some of your friends. You should get out of boston. Seems to be the season for restlessness. Going usually helps me, heh, but then we are two drastically different creatures.

the book? What book is so important that it has that nominative? =P

what nominative?...are you talking about the definite article? (grammatically confused as usual):)
Mynjaarmandae on November 4th, 2004 07:18 am (UTC)
Heh, is prolly the definite. For some reason I have nominative in the mind (soooo pathetic). Linguists don't need no grammar *ggl*

i just wanted a chance to recall that I know the difference between articles...

ahh...latin...you have provided me with so much that is so useless..:)
Mynjaarmandae on November 4th, 2004 08:49 am (UTC)
*chuckle* I never had the op to pick up latin. They instead in HS gave us a choice of Spanish, French, German, or Japanese. I ended up with the latter and thus missed alot of indoeuropean grammar. Still debating if this is a bad thing. I think im the only one in my ling courses that has never had latin hee.

Eh, nothing is useless. I imagine knowing latin made learning mult langs easier (how many do you speak btw? Spanish, English, ?) I'm a relative 'tahd[/boston] in that i dabbled in dead langs like Sanskrit, Mycanean Linear B, et al, but speak nothing practical fluently. (my matri tongue is spoken among such a small subset that it can't really be counted. Less than a 100 speakers methnks)

anyways. you can tell ive had too much chai
i start to babble...

I am fluent in English, Spanish, mezza mezza nel'Italiano, can read portuguese and speak a little, can read a little french, have studied Latin for 11 years or so..and made paltry attempts at attic greek...and as I get older and do not practice, they are all melding into a linguistic gumbo :)

I speak something i call "mynglish"

Complately parse.

Mmm gumbo.

Now im hungry.
