nothing like...
nothing like watching a musical like Spamalot (which was funny and entertaining and really well done) and getting the additional surprise of finding out one of your favorite actors (Harry Groener (for some they may recognize him as the Mayor from season 3 of Buffy)) is the main lead..:> that light yet strong personality comes through even with the beard and the strutting about in chainmail..:>

but i will admit, no offense to those who love NYC, but i just dont. the heat and smell is awful, the rudeness, and the general disposition just rubs me the wrong way...

Have to agree with your assessment of NYC. I used to think it was one of the cities I could live in....and now I am not so certain.

The pollution SUCKS.

Where in NYC are ya?

yeah. despise NYC. mostly due to the smell, actually. and the filth that seems -everywhere-

it's not even a megacity.
(i took a picture of the first piece of litter i found in tokyo cause it took me five days to find one.)

Always makes me wanna tear off a few layers of skin when I leave. just...oily.
(and crass. and rude. the inconsideration of personal space or of the existence of other people around you. east coast has definitely different perceptions of personal space than the places ive been on the west, but nyc is the extremum of that. *twitch*)

I agree, though I've never been there; I've heard enough stories. I do wanna visit there sometime because I wanna atleast go there once in my lifetime. I want to see Times Square and visit some of the museums.

i heard that was a great musical. I would love to catch it some time. gosh...this heat in NYC is unbearable, making every new yorker more rude than usual.
