tonpi update...
so far tonpi has survived the weekend. he's acting like nothing happened though he does seem to take a bit of care in moving about- more what i would expect from having been poked and prodded and whatever else they needed to do to him at the hospital. so im checking in on him around lunch time everyday this week (thankfully i live so close to work) and just watching... going to set up a vet checkup to see if they can do a real analysis and see if we can track down the primary cause. though i will admit im kinda nerve-wracked. he still has cancer.. it is killing him...

anyways, thank you once again to everyone who has asked about him and sent me well wishes....

Sending out prayers. Don't give up hope. Despite acute renal failure, Midnight is still with us.

Hey... give kitty lots of love for me. Tonpi is the only cat that has ever woken me up by teabagging me, and therefore he has a special place in my heart.
Don't lose hope - there are still lots of treatment options available for kitty once they figure out more details about his condition. I dunno which vet you go to... sounds like they are already doing a good job with helping Tonpi, but if you are interested in seeing a cat specialist that is not all the way at Angell Memorial Hospital, the vet up the street from me (City Cats) is very good about helping people take care of cats with health problems on a day-to-day basis. Good luck! *hugs*

... teabagging you?

Good grief, I always knew that cat was odd. Of course, I still remember senior year at Trinity, when he got hooked on pot, courtesy of our Croatian quadmate, and would spend hours hanging out in said roommate's room...

At least, that's how I remember the story, some 12 years later.

Anyway, I'll continue to send good thoughts in the direction of cat and owner. I've lost two to cancer over the years, I know how it feels. It's never easy. :(

I'm so sorry you and the kitty are going through this. Best wishes.

... would a fleet of screaming monkey slingshots help?

So sorry to hear that :( I get so sad watching my cats go through painful stuff.
