doh mo kun...  
for those who have not seen it...


sadly enough i recognize the monster... NHK in Japan.. NHK BS (the NHK satelite channels) uses it.. its called "doh mo kun" doh mo means thank you

the japanese translation :
Domo-kun is an odd creature hatched from an egg.
He rolled into Mr Rabbit's place. Mr Rabbit is a rabbit who loves TV. Dohmo is a very kind and strong creature but when he gets angry he farts a lot.
His favorite food is: Steak and Potatoes
Food he hates: Apples (something about his genes is linked to this)
Artists he likes: Max, and Guitar Wolf (i dont know the second band).

No it doesn't, "arrigato" means thank you, "domo-arrigato" is just a more polite way of saying thank you.

I do believe a slang of saying "domo" infers the same meaning....
