questioning thoughts...
so in the area of miscommunication and lack of communication... how does one measure and understand the areas of responsibility between 2 people?

does the person who fails to communicate sufficiently have the greater responsibility?
or does the person who fails to comprehend from the information given and therefore should delve deeper to gain that comprehension have the greater responsibility?

granted that situations are all different and thus one could say that "it depends", yet i wonder.... just how much delving should the receiver do? how much should the communicator open up?

.... life just isnt science...

difficulty in language
the added twist of course is the area of definitions. when one person indicates something with a term and the listener interprets it as something else, then break down occurs. this of course can be solved with the aforementioned "ok, what I am hearing you say is *this*. It that what you mean?"

however, once again, feelings and motives (EGO) become a problematic issue.

so, is the problem of responsibility defined by the amount of emotions/motives(EGO) involved? does the one who has the most blockage the one who has not followed through enough?
